Refund Policy

If you have any issues at all with your order, please email us at erin@mumandmunchkin.com.au

We check each item from our suppliers for any damage or faults (to the best we can determine at the time). If you do receive an item which is faulty, wrongly described, or doesn’t do what it is supposed to, you can choose between a refund, exchange or store credit.

Please choose your items carefully as we do not provide refunds should you simply change your mind.

If you make a wrong selection, you may be entitled to exchange your item for a more suitable item or store credit.

Returns will be accepted within 21 days of purchase and postage costs associated with any returns will be at the customer’s expense.

Shipping Policy

Shipping is currently offered Australia Wide. We offer a flat rate of $9.95 for all orders under $150. Orders over $150 will get free shipping. We ship with Startrack Express, using their express air freight service. Most of Australia is serviced overnight. Some regional or rural areas may take an extra day or so. A signature is required upon delivery.

All orders are shipped within a maximum of 48 business hours of your payment being received, although we do aim to get things out within 24 hours.

Townsville Residents have the option of pick-ups. A time and address will be confirmed with you via email once your order has been received.

We are more than happy for you to collect your order from us if we are attending a local Market in Townsville. If you would like this to occur please specify this in your checkout and we can email you our next Market attendance details.

On occasion you may find we might recycle some packing boxes/materials from our suppliers to ship larger orders. This in no way effects the products we sell, however is just a small thing we can do to keep costs down and help the environment at the same time.

Privacy Policy

We recognise that your privacy is very important to you. We are committed to protecting and safeguarding your privacy.

In order to provide you with certain products or services, we may ask for personal details such as your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address, and we will keep a record of this information.  If you choose not to provide certain types of personal information to us, we may not be able to provide you with the products or services you have requested.

We generally only collect personal information when it is provided voluntarily by you. For example, we may collect your personal information when you register with us, open an account, or subscribe to our website and/or newsletter, use our services, order our products, contact us online or by telephone or send us correspondence. The personal information that we collect via our website or through correspondence with you will be used and disclosed for the purposes for which you supplied it. For example, the contact details that you provide to us may be used to identify and fulfil any orders you place, ensuring that any products purchased via our website are delivered to the given address. Your personal information will only be held for as long as necessary. The personal information is then destroyed unless we must retain it to satisfy legal, regulatory or accounting requirements or to protect our interests. Mum and Munchkin does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to ‘Tools | Internet Options | Privacy’ and selecting to block cookies. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use cookies.
